Interactive Archviz: Material Decisions at Full Scale
A VR concept that brings materials, lighting, dimensions, and furniture choices into one real scale spatial walkthrough.

On This Page
Architectural choices are usually made through a sequence of drawings, samples, and renders. This interactive archviz concept asks what changes when the same decisions can be explored inside the space itself. It turns a hotel room scenario into a living materials catalog where finishes, furniture, light, and dimensions can be inspected in a single walkthrough.
Change the Space While You Are In It
The experience gives users a bank of construction materials and furniture to apply to the room in real time. A bathroom finish can change, lighting can be switched on, and the same room can be read as a sequence of possible directions rather than a fixed image. The goal is not to replace design judgment; it is to give that judgment a more immediate spatial reference.

Materials and furniture can be considered as part of the room, not in isolation.

Dimensions That Belong to the Environment
Because the environment is experienced at a real world scale, the visitor can read proportion as they move through it. Floating measurements can be called up when planning needs to become more precise. Lighting and a view through the window add another layer of context, showing how material and layout decisions relate to the atmosphere of the whole space.
A Technical Demo for Spatial Conversations
This is a Grayscale Interactive technical demo: a compact way to show how immersive visualization can support a more active conversation around a planned space. The interaction is intentionally direct: select, place, observe, and compare, so the focus stays on the decisions being made rather than on the interface itself.
- Explore materials, furniture, and lighting in the same walkthrough.
- Read scale and dimensions from inside the planned environment.
- Compare design directions without waiting for another render cycle.
